Ultimately, Hayden loves creativity, in all forms. And having the opportunity to pour back into Sanderson’s stories, in some small way, after all they’ve done for him, is a dream come true.
Journey before destination.
Steven is a popular content creator whose passion is talking about books while weaving comedy into everything he does. He is also the co-host of the bookish podcast The SmashCast, with PB Squamer.
Steven has always loved a good story. Growing up his favorite works were Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Pirates of the Carriage. To this day these remain his favorite.
His bookish interests do not stop at fantasy though. Steven enjoys classical literature and even non-fiction works that include philosophy, self help, science, and biographies.
He is also a singer/songwriter that has a few songs available on streaming platforms. His newest song is entitled Smut, and was written to comedically describe what Booktok is like.
Steven’s goal with the Fantasy Fan Fellas Podcast, and all other content he creates, is to provide humor and insight for the books described in each episode, and to help create an escape from real life, which often times can be quite painful. Also, quitting his nine to five would be an absolute DREAM!
At the end of the day, Steven’s goal in all he does is to make someone laugh, or at the very least, make them smile.
